Volunteers
A word about volunteer work.....
Each non-profit organization almost always has work for volunteers.
Volunteer work can be one way to learn new skills, to meet new people, and to make new friends. It is a documented fact that volunteer roles often can be transformed into permanent, paid positions.
Volunteering, working without pay, can be very rewarding. You can obtain new skills for your résumé. Volunteering is a way to improve your lot in life, as well as that of the people you help.
AAP Foundation
To help ensure the future, the AIDS Assistance Program has established an endowment fund – The AAP Foundation, Inc.
Contributions to the AAP Foundation will be invested in a diversified portfolio and the earnings will be used to help sustain the good work of the AIDS Assistance Program. As the core of the endowment grows, the earning power will grow and relieve some of the AIDS Assistance Program’s dependence on annual fundraising.
With a campaign goal of $2.5 million, The AAP Foundation will offer our donors and benefactors many giving opportunities. In addition to multi-year financial pledges, other standard endowment gifts include charitable remainder trusts, estate gifts and other long-term commitments.
For more information about the AAP Foundation, please call (760) 325-8481 or e-mail us at aidsassistance@aidsassistance.org.
