From the Executive Director

December 2017

Happy holidays!

As we celebrate the holidays with friends and family, we take a moment to give thanks to all of those that mean so much to us in so many ways. This includes all of you who have supported our organization over the years.

A special thanks goes out to Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians and AAP Board Member Betty Callies. They very generously provided turkeys to our clients at a special distribution. These huge turkeys averaged about 15 lbs each! Our clients were delighted and appreciative and many of them commented that this turkey was the only way they would be able to have a true Thanksgiving!

You still have time to attend one of the Barry Manilow 'A Gift of Love' Christmas Charity Concerts at the McCallum Theatre December 12 - 17. AAP – Food Samaritans has been invited to benefit from these delightful concerts that will feature Barry’s hit songs and holiday favorites.
