As we approach the end of this year, we have much to be thankful for. Thank you to Barry Manilow for his recent Gift of Love holiday concerts that benefited 25 local charities including AAP - Food Samaritans. Thank you to Nabil Najjar and the Desert Tennis Association for their 30th annual Palm Springs Open tennis tournament - held over Thanksgiving weekend - that also benefited us. Thank you to long-time supporters Tom Andrika and Joe Johnson who matched all gifts received on Giving Tuesday, November 28, doubling the impact of all donations. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Palm Springs Open and Desert Tennis Association's continued support of AAP - Food Samaritans, Andrika and Johnson matched the first $30,000 raised in support of AAP-Food Samaritans.

 

In our 32 years, we have never missed a client voucher distribution, but it is a continual challenge even with these recent fundraising events. I hope you will consider a year-end tax-deductible donation. Your gift to AAP will help ensure the continuity of service to those most in need.
