This new year is off to a great start, with the Palm Springs International Film Festival kicking things off, and a full slate of charity events ahead.

 

2023 wrapped up with the incredible generosity and talent of Palm Springs' own Barry Manilow and his spectacular A Gift Of Love holiday concerts. AAP - Food Samaritans was fortunate to be selected once again by Barry and his husband and business partner Garry Keif as one of the charity beneficiaries of the concerts, and we are touched and grateful.

 

Coming up in March we have two great events that will also benefit AAP. First is the 12th annual 'Hollywood's Biggest Night' on Sunday, March 10 hosted by AAP Board President Tony Marchese's TRIO Restaurant. (Please note: The Academy has moved the starting time for the ceremony from 5 PM (PST) to 4 PM, so our famous 'Orange Carpet Arrivals' will start at 3:30 so we can have everyone seated and begin serving at 4. This year, the sparkling Bella da Ball will be joined by Eye on the Desert's Patrick Evans on the orange carpet!

 

Next up is Palm Springs Life's incredible Fashion Week El Paseo, showcasing leading and emerging designers. Fashion Week benefits several charities, and we are honored to have been selected as the beneficiary of one of their evenings: Tuesday, March 19.
