It's been a great 'season' here in the Valley, and it's lovely to see so many charity events coming back, raising awareness and funds for the causes about which we all care so deeply. Most of us have 'favorites' when it comes to charities and their events, and I hope that EVENING UNDER THE STARS is one of yours.
 
As I mentioned in last month's newsletter, EVENING UNDER THE STARS is coming back! Its absence for the past three seasons has definitely been challenging for AAP's finances, and I am elated that we have this to look forward to.
 
Very soon I will be sharing more about the event, including the names those that will be honored and our headline entertainment. For now I want you to please SAVE THE DATE of Saturday, October 14 for this spectacular event.
 
As we all do, our clients face higher energy bills in the summer and so our nutritional support program is even more crucial to those who struggle to get by while facing chronic illness. To see us through these slow, hot summer months, it would be a tremendous help if you would please consider a donation. Please call me if you're interested in purchasing a table NOW for Evening Under the Stars or becoming a sponsor. I'm always available at 760-864-1200. Because of the new venue, capacity is limited. Tables of ten start at $10,000 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
One more bit of good news: All event sponsors will be invited to an exclusive reception on the evening prior to the gala at the estate of EUS sponsor J. Brad Lampley (formerly known as 'Houston South') and I am very pleased to revive this tradition as well. (Thanks, Brad!)
