From the Executive Director

Special Update - June 2020

We at AAP - Food Samaritans cannot be silent. We stand with the Black Lives Matter movement in the quest for freedom, liberation, and justice.

Since its founding in 1991, AAP – Food Samaritans has understood the fight of the underserved in our community and we believe we have made a difference. AAP has always held the belief that we are all humans and that skin color, social status, or education should not affect how the needy are helped.

It is my hope – and the hope of our Board of Directors and staff – that we all put aside differences, learn how to be kind, love and respect one another as human beings no matter the tone of our skin, and that things can finally begin to change.

As always, thank you for all you do to support AAP – Food Samaritans. I would especially like to thank everyone who has supported us by participating in last week's Awesome Online Auction. Unsold items will be available on our site from June 11 until July 18 at the 'buy it now' price.

Sincerely,
Mark Anton
C.E.O./Executive Director
